Survey of Manhattan Law Firms

NYWBA is proud to sponsor a survey of the status of women attorneys in law firms with Manhattan offices. Our inaugural survey in 2007 was the first of its kind in the nation and provided vital information to the legal community. The report and press release from our 2007 survey, and information about our new survey, are provided below.

NYWBA SURVEY OF MANHATTAN LAW FIRMS

Nearly 50 firms responded to our ground-breaking survey in 2007 (a link to our comprehensive report and press release appear below). The NYWBA is preparing to launch another survey on the status of women attorneys in Manhattan firms. The survey will be conducted under the direction of the NYWBA Committee to Advance the Status of Women in the Profession. We invite all firms with 5 or more attorneys in Manhattan to participate.

We will be establishing a page on our website where firms can easily confirm their address and contact information and can notify us of the person(s) in the firm who should receive the survey questionnaire, which will be distributed by email.

As the details are finalized, additional information will be posted here. In the meantime, if you have questions or need additional information, contact survey@nywba.org.
